A long time ago, a sailor fell in love with the daughter of the King. When the father found out, he expelled all the sailors from his lands for ever. As time passed, the King fell ill and then later died.

Then the princess, who was left alone, ordered the building of a tall light tower, with the hope that the sailors would return, and so find her lover once again. One day a ship. guided by the light of this tall tower, managed to get through a severe storm by a miracle and reach the coast. The captain of the ship, who was the sailor who fell in love with the princess, was able to meet her again. They were married and lived happily until the end of their days.
